Abstract
The hyperplastic polyp is common lesion among an elevated lesions of the stomach. Histologically, it was composed of elongated and hyperplastic foveolae of the gastric glands. Secondary erosion of surface is common. The stroma was chronically edematous and inflammed Dysplastic or adenomatous lesion was rarely presented in the hyperplastic polyp, admixed with hyperplastic foveolae. There has been a suggestion that the transformational sequence might exist in the genesis of gastric cancer in certain cases: hyperplastic polyp-adenoma-adenocarcinoma. We experienced a case of mixed adenomatous-hyperplastic gastric polyp.
